The Best Part of a Book

Ever thought about what a book smells like? I was in a Barnes and Nobles recently and, to my surprise, I smelled a book. It was as if something unconscious inside me was interested not just in the feel of the story but the scent of it as well.
I remember, when I was younger, reading an old paperback copy of The Lord of the Rings and the scent has always stuck with me. That's the quintessential scent of a book to me: old paper, a little bit of glue, and slight amount of mustiness. I've tried smelling other books, new books and old books, but none of them smell quite as good as the certain scent that copy of The Lord of the Rings.
But the scent of the book is not really what is important here. The most important part of the book, no matter what people might say, is the cover. See, this is a part of a blog tour (which is why it's coming out on Thursday instead of Friday) promoting J. Grace Pennington's new book: Implant. And this isn't just any old promotion. This is a cover reveal. That's why you're here, after all: to see the best part of the book (though, the inside is pretty cool too). So, here's the beautiful, new cover:

What do you think? It's pretty cool, huh? Well, imagine how much cooler it would be with a synopsis to back it up. Maybe something like this one:

Welcome to the world of a universal cure.
Gordon Harding didn't ask for the life he has. He didn't ask to be orphaned. He didn't ask to go through life with cancer. And he certainly didn't ask to be pulled into a future world without warning-a world where every human being is controlled by means of a medical implant.
And when he learns that he's the only one who can destroy the base of operations, he's faced with
an impossibly painful choice: either hide and let the world decay under this mysterious futuristic force, or rescue humanity from oppression, knowing that there's someone out there who is willing to use any means necessary to stop him.

Does that sound like something that will interest you? I hope so! Maybe you're not quite convinced and would like a bit more information?
